Strangers to Peace

Co-produced by Margaret Cardillo, a screenwriter, professor (University of Miami) and children’s book author, this documentary captures the challenges faced by three former Colombian child soldiers as they attempt to rebuild their lives, while the world around them views them as terrorists. Filmmaker Laura Angel, herself a victim of guerrilla army violence, offers a compassionate look at outcasts trying to reintegrate into society.
