Synopsis
The true saga of the swaggering Rene de Dios, bronzed beach bum and self-proclaimed “greatest shark fisherman in the world” and the colorful, roguish crew who steer a group of teenaged outcasts toward purpose and self-respect on the shores of a sleepy Miami Beach in the 1970s. Promising the greatest fish story since Jaws, director Robert R. Ramos has adapted his 2018 short (a winner at KWFF) into a feature documentary about a part of Florida you never knew existed.
