Eligibility, what's included, recognition, and receipt details for donor tiers.
Anyone can give. Friend and Benefactor tiers are open to individuals, families, foundations, and estates. Cinephile and Patron are designed for individuals, couples, households, and small businesses. If you are giving on behalf of a business and want logo placement or marketing benefits, see the Sponsor tiers instead.
Benefits are cumulative — each tier includes everything listed below it. Friend covers a digital program listing, early Dispatch news, and a tax receipt. Cinephile adds the donor reception and priority pass notice. Patron adds stage recognition and two closing-night party invitations. Benefactor recognition is matched to the gift level and can include anonymous giving, stock, donor-advised funds, and in-kind gifts.
Recognition runs for 12 months from the date of your gift. Friend and Cinephile names appear in the digital program. Patron receives a named thanks from the stage before a sponsored screening. Benefactor recognition is customized to the gift level. You may also give anonymously at any tier — just let us know in your donation note.
Yes. KWFF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so every gift is tax-deductible. Receipts are emailed within five business days of receiving your donation. Our tax ID is available on request by emailing brooke@kwfilmfest.com.
Absolutely. Employer matching gifts, multi-year pledges, stock transfers, and donor-advised fund grants are all welcome. Email brooke@kwfilmfest.com with your HR or foundation contact and we will handle the paperwork.
We accept stock, donor-advised fund distributions, in-kind services, and equipment or venue sponsorships. In-kind gifts are recognized at a fair-market value matched to the closest tier level. Reach out to brooke@kwfilmfest.com to arrange the details.
