An exceptional Canadian family goes on a worldwide trek to see as many earthly wonders as it can. It’s a truly once-in-a-lifetime journey for three of the four children of Edith Lemay and Sébastien Pelletier, as the kids suffer from a congenital condition which is rapidly limiting their eyesight and will lead to blindness. The parents want to give them extraordinary and vivid memories that will carry them, so off they go into the great wide open. Co-directed by Oscar-winning Navalny director Daniel Roher and Edmund Stenson, the film fully embraces its big-screen visions of the natural world, but also sensitively dials down to the intimacy of family and childhood, crafting a story that is as poignant and personal as it is expansive.
