Synopsis
The great German actor Frank Rogowski (“Transit”) gives a performance of “quietly piercing vulnerability” (Variety) as a gay man who is repeatedly imprisoned under Paragraph 175, a West German law that made homosexuality a crime and remained on the books until 1994. The second film from Austrian director Sebastian Meise won the Jury Prize at this year’s Un Certain Regard sidebar in Cannes.
