Synopsis
A profound meditation on art, love and the creative process, “American Symphony” is the moving and intimate portrait of two artists at a crossroads. Multi-instrumentalist Jon Batiste, nominated for 11 Grammy Awards in early 2022, was composing the most ambitious work of his career when his life partner, best-selling author Suleika Jaouad, suddenly faced the return of her long-dormant cancer.
