All of Us Strangers

Two of the UK’s most popular and charismatic actors star in writer-director Andrew Haigh‘s acclaimed romantic fantasy: Andrew Scott (the “hot priest” in Fleabag) and Paul Mescal (who made an international breakthrough in 2022’s AFTERSUN).

Scott is a lonely writer whose unexpected connection with an attractive and mysterious neighbor (Mescal) shakes up his life, even as he is pulled deep into reveries of childhood that bring his long-dead parents (played by Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) back to life. Haigh (WEEKEND, 45 YEARS) even managed to use his own childhood home as a location, richly personalizing his adaptation of Taichi Yamada’s 1987 novel Strangers.
