The Inspection

Special pre-recorded Q&A with Elegance Bratton, Golden Key Award winner for Breakthrough Director, and Eugene Hernandez, Director of the Sundance Film Festival.
Homophobia in the armed forces is a theme explored from a first-hand perspective by writer-director Elegance Bratton, who draws on his own experiences to frame the experience of a newly enlisted Marine (Jeremy Pope) going through boot camp on Parris Island, S.C. There, his sexual orientation makes him the subject of near-deadly hazing and other abuses, but he also finds unexpected camaraderie that carries him through.

Bratton is the 2022 recipient of the Golden Key Award for Breakthrough Director.
