Key West High School’s award-winning “Conch 5 Studios” is one of the nation’s top-rated high school television production programs, sending NINE films to the National High School Film Awards in New York.

For the past 24 years, director Ed Smith has strived to provide an integrated program where media, present & future, creatively converge in a classroom with a “if you can dream it… you can do it” attitude.

The goal of Conch 5 Studios is to provide students with the skills, attitudes, & knowledge necessary for success in any professional workplace and graduate with a toolbox of media skills useful in any chosen career while providing and atmosphere where learning is fun and relevant.
