KEY WEST FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES OUR SPRING FILM SERIES!

The Key West Film Festival announced the first four films of its monthly film series, establishing the festival as a truly year round event in Key West. Films will be screened at multiple venues, with an emphasis on modern classics and added content and events to make each screening a celebration of film.

A tradition of the highest honor continues as the nominees for the 94th Academy Awards were announced – several of which were featured in Key West Film Festival’s 10th Anniversary this past November.

10TH ANNUAL KEY WEST FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES AWARDS

The 10th Annual Key West Film Festival announced its awards today, lauding five feature films and seven short films. The festival showed more than 75 films during the five-day festival, which ran November 17-21 and celebrated its 10th Anniversary.

ABOUT KWFF FILM FESTIVAL

The Key West Film Festival—where passion meets paradise—is an annual celebration of contemporary cinema in a historically rich, artistically vibrant, and culturally diverse island community.

KWFF strives to showcase the best of Florida filmmaking talent, while highlighting visiting filmmakers and industry leaders through discussions and workshops, with access to some of the biggest names in the film business. The festival also looks to support the next generation of local student filmmakers with scholarships and other key awards.

The festival’s Critics’ Focus program, enhanced with the juried Critics’ Prize, together with the Costume Design Focus, marks the Key West Film Festival as a vital stop on the awards season’s fall festival circuit, with programs designed to support film criticism and craft while giving audiences greater context and perspective through public conversations guided by expert voices.
